ABOUT US

At Big Hope for The Little, we believe that caring for a child’s mental health means caring for their future.

Our work brings together children, families, educators, and communities to promote emotional well-being, strengthen supportive relationships, reduce stigma, and help children develop the confidence and resilience they need to flourish.

We are especially committed to reaching children and families in underserved communities where access to mental health education, resources, and support may be limited.

OUR VISION

Every Child Deserves the Opportunity to Thrive

We envision a future where mental health is recognized as an essential part of every child’s overall well-being, and where asking for help is met with compassion, understanding, and support—not stigma.

We strive for communities where children and families have equitable access to the knowledge, resources, support, and services they need to build healthy and hopeful lives.

We believe lasting change happens when families, schools, professionals, and communities work together to create environments where every child feels:

Seen. Heard. Safe. Supported. Valued.

BIG HOPE STARTS SMALL

A listening ear.

A caring adult.

A safe place.

A child who knows they matter.

Big hope begins with the little things—and together, those little things can change a child’s future.
